About me

Hi, I’m Haley!

I am a mom following a dream of writing and illustrating children’s books! I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without my incredible husband, Craig (who inspired the book, Goodnight, House). We have been married for 10 years and have three beautiful kids. I am a stay-at-home/homeschooling mom, and it’s truly my favorite job I’ve ever had. I am a former art teacher with a Bachelors in Art Education from Kansas State University and a Bachelors in Bible/Leadership from Manhattan Christian College. I have been doing freelance design/illustration work for almost 10 years!

I just recently finished my second children’s book, C is for Coffee, and I’m in the middle of working on my third book! I also operate an Etsy shop that displays a handful of my other work. You can find it here. I love all things cute and colorful and sweet, and I think that comes across in a lot of my personal work.
